In the wake of the no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Imran Khan being passed, celebrities have been coming out in support of him. However, the premier’s former wife and journalist Reham Khan recently mocked the support celebrities have shown for PM Khan.
Taking to Twitter, Reham shared, “All these actors giving endorsements to the Kupitaan had better [gotten] heavy investments for their film projects!”

Having none of it, actor Muneeb Butt hit back at Reham. “The way you got “heavy investments” for Janaan!” he wrote. “Apney set ka furniture tak apney IK ka name use karkey logun se free me liya tha [You received your furniture set free of cost after using Imran Khan’s name], so don’t school us and stop being a graceless ex!”

No-confidence motion against PM Khan
The opposition legislators have launched a no-confidence motion against PM Khan in parliament, hoping to remove his government amid accusations he has mismanaged the nation’s economy.
The house will begin a debate on the motion on Thursday and a vote is to be held within seven days. Shehbaz Sharif, the opposition leader in the National Assembly or lower house of the parliament, proposed the no-confidence motion against the premier on Monday.
PM Khan, 69, a former captain of Pakistan’s national cricket team, came into power in the 2018 elections, securing 176 votes. He needs 172 votes to remain in power.
But nearly 20 defections in Khan’s ruling party and cracks in his coalition partners have made him short of the 172 votes, a simple majority, needed to hold on to power.
